Just a late night note to say I am listening to the I am Sam soundtrack. If you are a Beatles fan this is a CD for you. All Beatles songs covered by some really great bands. It's also a really good movie for those of you who haven't seen it.

New Look

The blog has a new look, if you hate it... oh well, too bad. There were some new features added with the google/blogger merger so I took advantage of them and needed a break from writing my paper.

Downloadable Content... who needs a DVR?

I love bittorrent, especially when it comes to watching TV. I don't watch a lot of TV which is why no matter how good the deal or how comphrensive the package, I just could not be convinced to buy either satelite, cable or whatever crap MTS is offering (TV over a phone line... pffft) Anyway Laura and I recently started watching a show called the 4400, which is quite story based so I obviously don't want to start halfway through. A quick search on btjunkie and week later (big files) I have seasons 1 - 3, plug my laptop into our TV and viola the show I want to watch, when I want to watch it. And no greedy media mogul is getting a hand on my monies, except my internet service provider, but thats okay since I use that more then I watch TV, and not just for rotting my brain either. I would do the same with Battlestar Galatica, but that series is so great that I just went ahead and bought the DVDs.

The Ice Man Cometh...

So winter is upon us... or is it? with the weather we have been getting, one wonders. It has been almost as long as a Manitoba winter since I last posted here but hopefully that will all change, of course I might be motivated to update more often if I knew I wasn't the only one reading this. Anyway, we are about halfway through the first term of the 2006 school year and the grind before finals is starting, joy of joys. We finally have internet at home which makes it easier to use this method of communication.
